Los Angeles-based producer Lauren Mia and Melbourne duo MAMI have released their debut collaboration, ‘Elysium‘, via Enhanced Recordings on April 17, 2025. The cross-continental pairing has been generating immediate traction within the melodic techno and progressive house communities, arriving at a peak moment for both acts.
The track moves exactly as the title implies: spacious, luminous, and built with purpose. Sweeping cinematic atmospheres layer over a meticulous synth architecture before a driving, textured low-end locks the whole thing into dancefloor focus. It is not a simple split-the-difference collaboration. The two sonic identities fold into each other cleanly. Lauren Mia brings the emotional scaffolding, that classically rooted, analog-driven sense of weight and narrative she has spent years refining. MAMI bring the club-ready momentum, the high-energy forward motion that has defined their rise across Australia and into Europe. Together on ‘Elysium’, neither artist recedes into support. The result feels genuinely co-authored.
Lauren Mia: A Rising Force with an Expanding Empire
Lauren Mia’s trajectory over the past two years has been one of the more compelling stories in melodic electronic music. Her independently released debut album ‘RE:BIRTH‘ earned support from a wide sweep of the scene’s biggest names, including Tiesto, Tale of Us, CamelPhat, Joris Voorn, Kevin de Vries, Lane 8, and Vintage Culture. She has since crossed 10 million streams across digital platforms, a milestone that reflects both catalogue depth and a growing, devoted audience. Her live CV spans Tomorrowland, Burning Man, EDC Las Vegas, The Brooklyn Mirage, Hï Ibiza, and Zamna, where she has shared lineups with Adriatique, Mind Against, Kaskade, and Deadmau5.
In early 2025, she launched Halcyon, her own imprint, born from a deliberate creative reset. In her own words, speaking to Soundspace earlier this year: the label is built to carry over the values of her previous imprint but with a more refined and mature approach. The goal is music that connects body and soul, a platform for intentional, introspective electronic sound. Halcyon’s debut single ‘Sapiosensual‘ landed multiple editorial playlist placements on release, confirming there is an audience already aligned with the vision.
MAMI: Melbourne’s Melodic Duo Building a Global Footprint
MAMI, formed in Melbourne in 2020, are Adam Norris and Will Gaythorpe. The duo built their reputation steadily through refined productions and high-energy performances across Australia and Europe, sharing stages with Cassian and Korolova, among others. Their Beatport Top 10 Progressive House EP marked a turning point, signalling that the duo’s expansive, club-literate sound had resonance well beyond their home market. ‘Elysium’ represents their most high-profile placement to date, landing on Enhanced Recordings alongside one of melodic techno’s most talked-about names.
Enhanced Recordings, a long-standing pillar of the progressive and melodic space, provides the right infrastructure for a release of this weight. For both artists, ‘Elysium’ is less a lateral step and more a clear statement of intent: two distinct sonic worlds, brought together with enough conviction to make the meeting feel inevitable. Fans of Kevin de Vries, Joris Voorn, and CamelPhat have a new reference point. The track is out now across all platforms.
