Las Vegas has a way of making every celebration feel larger than life, and few people know that better than Lika O. The multi-hyphenate artist, whose ties to the city run deep, returned to the Strip to celebrate her birthday at SAHARA Las Vegas, and by her own account, the weekend set a new standard.
I have celebrated birthdays in a lot of places, but SAHARA made this one feel truly special,” Lika O says. “From the moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of. It was top tier from start to finish”
The celebration began at check-in, where the SAHARA team welcomed Lika O and her guests with the kind of warmth that is easy to promise and hard to deliver. Her suite became the weekend’s home base: a light-filled, beautifully appointed space made for getting ready, toasting the occasion and taking in the skyline. Friends and family settled into guest rooms nearby, keeping the whole group close and the energy high.
The accommodations matched the welcome. Lika O’s suite was as comfortable as it was gorgeous, and the rooms for her guests were just as beautiful, a detail she says mattered most. With the people she loves comfortable and happy, she could actually relax and enjoy her own birthday, and the hospitality team seemed to understand that instinctively.
Dinner was the centerpiece of the night. The group gathered at Maroon Steakhouse, SAHARA’s signature dining room, for a long, celebratory meal of prime cuts, standout sides and a steady flow of toasts. Lika O singles out the service as much as the food.
Dinner at Maroon was wonderful,” she says. “The food was incredible, but what I’ll remember is how attentive and genuine everyone was. They made us feel like family”
From there, the party moved to Magic Mike Live, the high-energy production that has become one of SAHARA’s calling cards. For a performer who knows her way around a stage, the show offered a different kind of thrill.
As an artist, Lika O couldn’t help admiring the choreography, the lighting and the split-second timing, all of it impressively polished. Mostly, though, the group simply cheered, laughed and had the best time, making it the perfect way to end the night.
The birthday weekend arrives at a busy moment. Lika O is preparing for the release of “Love or Lie?”, the reality dating series she created, produces and co-hosts, expected to premiere in early 2027. Filmed in Las Vegas, the show puts romance under pressure, asking its participants to decide whether what they feel is real.
She is also planning a series of live concerts across several states inspired by the show, bringing its themes of love, trust and temptation from the screen to the stage. Fans can expect new music to arrive soon as well.
Love or Lie?’ is about the moment you have to decide whether to trust your heart or protect it,” she says. “I wanted to take that feeling on the road and turn it into a live experience, with new music that speaks to it. This is a big chapter for me, and I can’t wait to share it”
For now, though, she is savoring the memory of a birthday done right.
Las Vegas has always given her energy, and this time SAHARA gave her a celebration she won’t forget. She heads into the year ahead grateful, and ready for everything that comes next.
