Justin Bieber shared footage from his secret, invite-only Roxy Theater show in LA, calling it a sneak preview of his Coachella headline sets
Justin Bieber is three weeks out from headlining Coachella, and he is already making moves. On Sunday, March 29, the pop star staged an invite-only, no-phones performance at The Roxy Theater in West Hollywood, a 500-capacity room, for his first full-length concert in nearly four years. On Tuesday, he posted the evidence: a montage of clips to X captioned simply, “See you all soon,” giving millions of fans outside the room their first real look at what is coming on April 11 and April 18.
The video runs under 90 seconds. It opens with a shirtless Bieber taking a bow on a small, packed stage, cuts to the theater’s marquee reading “Justin Bieber / Tonight Only,” and closes with Bieber addressing the crowd directly: “I just want to say thank you so much for coming tonight. This is so beautiful. It’s a little sneak preview into Coachella, which is gonna be so much fun.”
A 25-Song Set, All New Material, No Exceptions
The Roxy show was 25 songs deep, drawn entirely from his two 2025 albums, Swag and Swag II, marking the live debut of the majority of the material. Hot 100 entries “Daisies,” “Yukon,” “Speed Demon,” “Walking Away,” and “Go Baby“ were all present. Bieber traversed the small stage mostly alone, at times in a TLC CrazySexyCool World Tour tee and at others entirely shirtless. Toward the end, he was joined by two guitarists for an acoustic run at “Everything Hallelujah.”
Legacy hits were nowhere in the room. No “Peaches,” no “Sorry,” no “Baby.” The omission is pointed. Bieber sold his music catalog in 2023 for approximately $200 million, a transaction that has clearly accelerated his focus on building a live identity around his current era rather than leaning on the material that made him a superstar. The Roxy crowd also reportedly included Hailey Bieber and the couple’s son Jack, with SZA, Shaboozey, Matty Healy, and Tate McRae among the celebrity guests in attendance.
The Highest-Paid Coachella Headliner in Festival History
The commercial stakes around Bieber’s Coachella appearance are significant. He is reported to be receiving $10 million for his two Saturday headline sets, a figure that would make him the highest-paid headliner in Coachella history, surpassing the $8 million Beyoncé commanded for her 2018 Beychella performance. That investment from festival organizers reflects the magnitude of his return as a live act after years largely off the road following the conclusion of his Justice World Tour in September 2022.
Fans who missed the Roxy can watch either Coachella set in person or via the festival’s live YouTube stream. Both Saturday slots, April 11 and April 18, are his. The marquee outside the Roxy said tonight only. The desert has other plans.
