Nickelback announce a seven-date 2027 Australian tour with Don Broco, behind new album ‘Everything Under the Sun’. Dates and tickets
Nickelback are coming back to Australia, and they are bringing an entire album cycle with them. The Canadian rock juggernauts have confirmed a seven-date Australian leg of their 2027 Everything Under the Sun Tour, running across October 2027 with British genre-benders Don Broco as support. The run lands behind the band’s eleventh studio album, also titled Everything Under the Sun, out Oct. 30 via Virgin Music Group, and it caps a global trek that will have already circled North America, the UK and Europe.
For a band as commercially bulletproof as Nickelback, the stakes are less about proving themselves than sustaining one of rock’s most dependable touring businesses. The group has sold almost 65 million albums worldwide, holds RIAA Diamond certification, and watched its 2022 album Get Rollin’ spawn its fastest-selling, highest-attended world tour to date. A late-career resurgence has only sharpened their draw, helped along by the Netflix documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback, which spent weeks in the platform’s Global Top 10 and reframed the perennial punching bags as survivors.
Seven Nights, Arenas to Wineries
The Australian leg opens Oct. 2 at Perth’s RAC Arena before moving to Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on Oct. 5 and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Oct. 7. From there the tour leans into Australia’s growing appetite for winery and estate shows, with an Oct. 9 date at Mount Duneed Estate in Geelong. The run then hits Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Oct. 12 and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on Oct. 14, before closing Oct. 16 at Roche Estate in the Hunter Valley. The mix of major-city arenas and regional outdoor venues is a smart piece of routing, widening the catchment well beyond the capital cities.
Don Broco make for an inspired, slightly left-field support choice. The British rockers are riding their own momentum, and the pairing is not random: Nickelback recently guested on Nightmare Tripping, the title track of Don Broco’s latest album for Fearless Records. That collaboration gives the bill a genuine creative thread rather than a bolted-on opener.
A New Album With Something to Prove
The tour doubles as a global push for Everything Under the Sun, and the early singles suggest a band balancing its two instincts. Lead single ‘Rattle the Cage‘, featuring guitarist John 5, hit No. 1 on US Active Rock radio, confirming the heavy, riff-first side of the band still connects at format radio. Follow-ups ‘Leave Me Behind’ and ‘Make Me Love You’ pull in the other direction, showing a more vulnerable, melodic streak. It is the same push and pull that has defined Nickelback’s catalogue for two decades, the balladeers and the headbangers sharing one marquee.
The Australian dates are the finale of a sprawling campaign. The Everything Under the Sun Tour launches Feb. 6, 2027, in Pittsburgh and runs nearly 40 North American dates before wrapping that leg in Mexico City on May 7. A 24-date European and UK run follows from late May through mid-July, taking in Leeds, Germany, Poland, the Nordics and more, with Don Broco along for the ride throughout. By the time the band reaches Perth, the show will be thoroughly road-tested.
How to Get Tickets
Ticketing rolls out in the usual tiered fashion. An artist presale begins Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by Vodafone and Mastercard presales on Oct. 14, and Live Nation and Spotify presales on Oct. 15. General sale opens Friday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. VIP packages are also available, bundling premium tickets with a pre-show lounge and exclusive merchandise.
Whatever the critics have historically made of them, Nickelback remain one of the most reliable ticket-sellers in modern rock, and a tour this large is a bet that the demand is still there. On the evidence of the past few years, it is not a risky one.
