Noah Kahan announces three 2027 UK and Ireland stadium shows, including a career-biggest headline gig at London’s Wembley Stadium
Noah Kahan is graduating to the biggest stages of his career. On August 20, the Vermont singer-songwriter announced three “The Last of the Bugs” stadium shows across the UK and Ireland for summer 2027, capped by a headline performance at London’s Wembley Stadium that will be the largest of his career to date. It is the clearest sign yet that Kahan’s rise from folk-pop cult favorite to arena mainstay has entered a new, stadium-sized tier.
The run is compact but significant. Kahan will headline Glasgow’s Hampden Park on July 13, 2027, followed by Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on July 17, before the Wembley finale on July 23. Fans could register for an artist pre-sale code ahead of a pre-sale beginning August 25, with general on-sale following August 28. For an artist who was playing clubs a few years ago, three stadiums in a single week is a considerable statement of demand.
From ‘Stick Season’ To The Stadium Circuit
The leap did not happen overnight, but it happened fast. Kahan’s 2022 album “Stick Season” became a genuine cultural phenomenon, going 4x Platinum, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and lingering in the top 15 more than three years after release on its way to becoming one of the biggest releases of the decade. It earned him a Best New Artist nomination at the 2024 Grammys and helped popularize a folk-pop sound once dismissively branded “stomp clap hey” music.
His fourth album, “The Great Divide,” released in April via Mercury Records, converted that momentum into commercial dominance. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 387,000 equivalent album units, Kahan’s best week ever and the largest week for any rock album since Billboard began tracking with the units system in late 2014. Produced by Gabe Simon alongside Grammy-winner Aaron Dessner, it deepened his familiar themes of family, sobriety and home while pushing toward a more anthemic, stadium-ready scale.
A Tour Built On Momentum
The 2027 dates sit atop an already staggering touring run. Kahan has sold more than 1.5 million tickets on his current “The Great Divide” world tour, and last weekend he played his biggest North American headline show to date at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena in front of 50,000 fans, a night that saw him bring out surprise guest Chappell Roan for a duet of her song “California.” Australian and New Zealand dates arrive in September and October, with UK and Ireland arena shows in November preceding the stadium jump.
That trajectory is matched by an unusually grounded public persona. In 2023, Kahan launched the mental-health non-profit The Busyhead Project, which has raised more than $5.5 million to date, and his connection to his fanbase, affectionately known as “Busyheads,” runs through everything from his confessional lyrics to his self-deprecating humor.
The very name of the new run nods to that bond, as does his recent joke calling on Congress to make his fans wear diapers to shows after some were caught relieving themselves on venue floors. For all the scale of Wembley, the appeal remains the same intimacy that built him. Kahan turned shared vulnerability into a movement, and now that movement is big enough to fill stadiums.
