Award-winning recording artist, actress, producer, and entrepreneur Lika O has added another credit to her name. She has recorded the official soundtrack for her upcoming reality TV series, Love or Lie?
Created by Lika O and produced and co-hosted alongside Peter Madrigal, best known for Vanderpump Rules, the series was filmed at two of downtown Las Vegas’ premier destinations, Circa Resort & Casino and The D Las Vegas. Local Las Vegas outlets have already picked up on the project, confirming that Madrigal and Lika O are set to host and produce the dating series and that filming got underway in the city this year, with a release on Prime Video expected before the year is out.
The series is led by showrunner and Emmy-nominated director Paris Dylan, with Anthony Gusumano as executive producer and Melissa Shevela as producer.
Lika O’s own path to this point has taken her a long way from where she started. Born Lika Osipova in Pyatigorsk, Russia, she began modeling at thirteen and picked up more than ten national pageant titles before relocating to the United States in 2006. She later founded Miss Russian LA, the first Russian beauty and talent competition in Los Angeles, and ran it for more than a decade. Along the way she’s appeared on NBC’s California Live, turned up on Vanderpump Rules, and landed on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. In 2021 she released her debut single, “Lights,” which picked up the Special Jury Award at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
This isn’t Lika O’s first major project filmed in Las Vegas, either. She previously shot her award-winning music video and short film “Shoot First” in the city with Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts, a roughly $1 million production filmed at Resorts World Las Vegas, where the casino closed seven of its venues to accommodate the shoot. The project went on to win multiple international awards.
Grammy-winning producer and entertainment executive Vassal Benford joins Love or Lie? as a celebrity judge for one of the episodes.
Music plays a key role throughout the series. Lika O co-produced the original song with writer Boris K and recorded it as the show’s official soundtrack, written to match the tension and emotional stakes of the format.
Fashion carries its own weight in the production. Luna Fashion House is the series’ official fashion partner, dressing the cast in custom-selected looks throughout the season, and Luna Fashion House president Margareta Petrovic also appears as a celebrity judge for one of the episodes.
Love or Lie? doesn’t have an official premiere date yet. Early reporting out of Las Vegas points to a release on Prime Video before the year ends, which would put it on shelves not far behind Lika O’s other Vegas work. For an artist who’s spent the last few years moving between pageant stages, music videos, and now a full reality format, it’s the latest sign she isn’t picking just one lane.
